Russia's war in Ukraine and Iran's drone military aid to Russia are among the topics EU foreign ministers will discuss at a meeting in Brussels.

The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, has called on the EU countries to continue negotiations on using the seized assets of the Russian central bank of 300 billion dollars for the reconstruction of Ukraine, reports The Financial Times.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the German public broadcaster ARD that now was not the time for Ukraine to trade, but to survive. He thanked Berlin for the help sent so far, but stressed that Ukraine needed the German Leopard tanks and that they would not be used on Russian territory.

German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock told French LCI TV that Berlin would not stand in Poland's way if Warsaw decided to send German Leopard tanks it owns to Ukraine. Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Twitter that "we will not stand idly by and watch Ukraine bleed to death."

Meanwhile, Morocco handed Ukraine the first 20 T-72B tanks modernized in the Czech Republic, TASS reported.

According to analysts, if Kyiv receives and forms a compound of more than 200-250 Western heavy tanks, Ukraine will be able to resume the liberation of the territories occupied by Russia.
