Israeli Minister of Tourism Haim Katz pays visit to Bulgaria

In Sofia, Bulgarian Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov and Israeli counterpart Haim Katz have signed an agreement between the governments of Bulgaria and Israel on cooperation in the sphere of tourism.

The agreement envisages exchange of experience in specific forms of tourism, such as spa and wellness, adventure, cultural-historical, religious tourism. This is the first visit of the Minister of Tourism of Israel to Bulgaria. In the past year, Bulgaria was visited by nearly 200,000 Israeli tourists, which is a rise of about 300% compared to 2021, with the most popular destinations being Sofia, Nessebar, Varna, Bansko, Samokov, Plovdiv.
