Naval mine defused near Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast

A naval mine was defused this afternoon 200 meters away from the coast near the village of Tyulenovo, Shabla municipality, the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense reported. The signal to the military was submitted by the regional governor of Dobrich. Specialists classified the mine as "YaM" type, set in readiness.

This is not the first case of a mine being spotted and destroyed in Bulgarian waters. After the start of the war in Ukraine, the Naval Forces are on alert and ready to destroy sea mines in order to ensure free navigation in the Bulgarian maritime spaces.
