Bulgaria reports 4 Covid-related deaths in past day, pandemic indicators decline on a weekly basis

116 is the number of new Covid-19 infections registered in the country out of 5,265 tests performed in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 2.2%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. One week ago, the positivity rate stood at 3.1%. 60% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.  

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection decreased with 103 to 3,270. 45 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 75.56% of them were not inoculated against Covid-19. 323 patients with an established coronavirus infection are being treated in hospital, as 42 are in intensive care units.

4 Covid-related deaths have been registered in the past day. 215 people have been reported cured.

1126 vaccine doses were administered on Monday.
