Bulgarian Air Force successfully transport a baby in need of emergency medical aid

An air force rescue team flew from Varna Airport to Sofia Airport to transport a 10-day-old baby in need of emergency medical aid, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Defence said. 

The baby was transported by a Spartan aircraft, equipped with a special infant-incubator and life-saving equipment. It was monitored by a medical team from a hospital based in Sofia. The aeromedical evacuation was carried out at the request of the Ministry of Health following the permission of Bulgaria’s Minister of Defence.
