"What happened in Türkiye is a huge tragedy. The country is to go through difficult times for months, or perhaps for years. These damages cannot be repaired so quickly. However, there is a beacon of light- social solidarity," Nadezhda Neynski, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Türkiye, said for bTV.

Several charity initiatives are taking place in Bulgaria to raise funds for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Türkiye and Syria. The social media has also focused on the tragedy that has befallen the two countries.
