In the round of sixteen Dimitrov defeated No 5 seed Hubert Hurkacz (Poland) 7:6(4); 7:6(5). Grigor Dimitrov ended the match with 24 winners (8 aces) and 14 unforced errors. In 2013, 2017 and 2018 Dimitrov reached the finals of the tennis tournament in Rotterdam.
