In January job centres provided work to 12,037

With the help of the employment centres in the country, a total of 12,037 people started work in January. More than 20% of them have found jobs in the processing industry, followed by trade, public administration and the hospitality industry. Around 5% found jobs in healthcare and the social sphere and 4% in construction. There is a 2.3% increase y-o-y in the number of vacancies on the primary labour market, their number rising to 12,058. The highest number of vacancies announced are in the processing industry (33.8%), followed by public administration (14.5%), trade (9.4%), hospitality (7.0%), education (6.9%) and administrative and auxiliary activities (5.7%).
