In a number of Bulgarian cities, such as Karlovo, Lovech, Veliko Tarnovo and others, the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the death of the Apostle of Freedom Vasil Levski has begun.

This evening there will be a commemorative ceremony in Vasil Levski's hometown Karlovo. A holy liturgy and a memorial service were celebrated today at the St. Virgin Mary, where Levski had been chanting as a deacon with his spiritual name Ignatius.
