The Central Electoral Commission has not yet discussed the possible revision of its decision on the joint counting of paper and machine ballots in the polling stations protocols, nor has such a proposal been submitted. This was stated by the spokeswoman of the Central Election Commission Rositsa Mateva at a briefing on the upcoming parliamentary elections on 2 April 2023. It is not yet clear as to how video surveillance will be organised during the elections.

So far, 10,416 people have applied to vote abroad, Mateva said. The commission will decide on the number of polling stations outside the country by 11 March.
