Minibus with illegal migrants crashes on Trakia Motorway, one dies

One illegal migrant has died in a road accident on Trakia Motorway near Chirpan. A minibus carrying 47 illegal migrants from Afghanistan had a flat tire and crashed. There is an increased police presence on the scene. The law enforcement authorities are investigating the case.

Thirty migrants were taken to the hospital in Stara Zagora, as twenty-six of them were hospitalized. Currently, no patients are in a life-threatening condition. An eleven-year-old child is among the injured, caretaker Minister of Health Dr. Assen Medjidiev announced at a briefing.
