A National Coordination Unit will monitor and control food prices. An order to this effect was signed today by caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev. He noted that the rise in food prices is a pressing problem for many Bulgarians.
The new structure will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policies Hristo Alexiev, who will propose measures in line with the national and European legislation.
