US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has no plans to meet the Russian and Chinese foreign ministers at the G20 summit that starts today in New Delhi, AFP has reported. „If Russia, President Putin, were genuinely prepared to engage in meaningful diplomacy necessary to end the aggression, of course we’d be the first to work on that and to engage. But there is zero evidence of that. To the contrary, the evidence is all in the other direction,“ the Secretary of State said. According to him, the real question is whether Russia would reach a point where it was truly ready to stop the war and whether it would do so according to the UN Charter.

Two people died and 20 were evacuated after a Russian missile hit a five-story apartment block in Zaporizhzhia last night, the Guardian reported. "The armed forces of Ukraine keep all sections of the front under control," President Zelensky said hours after the Ukrainian military command announced that Russian troops were advancing in the Bakhmut area - Moscow's current main target.

The drones Russia has been using to attack Ukraine in recent days probably took off from the western Bryansk region, the British Ministry of Defense said, as quoted by DPA. This means that the Kremlin now has a second site for launching Iranian drones. The second site gives the Russians an additional launching point for attacks that is closer to Kiev, the report made on the basis of information from British intelligence, reads.
