Skiers in folk costumes descend the ski slopes in Pamporovo

For another year on the National Day of Bulgaria - Liberation Day, March 3, in the resort of Pamporovo in the Rhodope Mountains was held the "Big skiing in folk costumes". 
"Every year there are at least 100 more people who are in costumes and ski down. There are more bagpipers, more drummers while we ski," said Antoniya Kamenichka from BNR's Radio Sofia. Antoniya is the organizer of the event in Pamporovo. 
Among the participants there are young entrepreneurs who have settled with their families in the Rhodope villages, lecturers who organize trainings there, avid skiers and snowboarders, teachers, doctors, engineers. Some of the costumes belonged to the grandparents of the participants.
