Over 75% of Bulgarians have difficulty covering their daily expenses, shows a study of the National Statistical Institute. 19% of the respondents manage relatively easily, and only 4% do not have any problem.

In the last quarter of last year, incomes remained unchanged for nearly 68%, while about 27% received an increase in revenue and incomes decreased for 5.5% of respondents.

The main reasons for the increase in income last year are the increase in pensions and social benefits, as well as the indexation of wages.
