NSI: The GDP per hour worked is EUR 14.93

The number of persons employed in the Bulgarian economy was 3.5 million in 2022. According to preliminary data, the gross domestic product per person employed in Bulgaria went up by 2.1% year-on-year in 2022, the National Statistical Institute informed.

 The employment structure by economic sectors shows an increase in the relative share of the service sector and a decrease in the relative share of the agricultural sector. The gross value added per person was EUR 24,145. The GDP per hour worked was EUR 14.93.
