Women mobilize for their rights with "Not one more" marches across Bulgaria

In the city of Dobrich, North-Eastern Bulgaria, a march in defence of women's rights was held mottoed "Not one more". Participants demanded changes to the Domestic Violence Act and mechanisms to prevent domestic violence and to support its victims. According to unofficial data, an average of one woman a week loses her life in Bulgaria due to partner violence.

"Not one more" marches are also planned in other cities. The march in the centre of Sofia will take place for the seventh consecutive year. It will start from the National Palace of Culture at 19:00.
