The Bulgarian Red Cross has sent over 24 tons of humanitarian aid to the victims of the devastating earthquake in Syria that took place on February 6, 2023. The aid, delivered by four trucks, was collected thanks to donations from Bulgarian citizens and companies under the national campaign to aid the victims of the earthquake.
Another 33 tons of aid are expected to depart on March 16, 2023 for the Lebanese capital Beirut. From there the aid will be transported with a humanitarian convoy to Syria.
