There is no risk that the machines that will be used for voting in the parliamentary elections on April 2 will not arrive on time in the polling stations abroad, CEC spokesperson Rositsa Mateva said at a briefing.

Earlier today, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said that the department had not yet received the devices and therefore could not guarantee their delivery to distant destinations such as the US and Canada. According to Rositsa Mateva, the machines will be provided to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as soon as their certification and testing, as well as the installation of the software, are completed.

Bulgarians living abroad will vote in 737 polling stations in 61 countries.
