Bulgaria welcomes the decision of the Turkish Parliament to ratify Finland's accession to NATO. This is what the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) wrote on Twitter, BTA has reported. We hope that Finland and Sweden will soon be full members of NATO, the ministry writes.

Late last night, the Turkish parliament unanimously ratified Finland's accession to NATO, which had been previously blocked. The Finnish application has already been approved by all 30 NATO member states. However, Sweden's application, submitted at the same time as Finland's, still remains blocked by Ankara.
