No serious violations on election day 

17 thousand policemen mobilised on the day of the vote

So far, 651 signals have been received for breaches of electoral legislation and political rights violations, but overall no serious infringements have been registered, the Interior Ministry said. 135 criminal procedures have been initiated - 34 of them swift. 

Border security is normal and the functioning of border crossings is well organised. Nearly 17 thousand policemen were mobilised on the day of the vote. Since the beginning of the election campaign, 719 files and 133 pre-trial proceedings were opened for violations of citizens' political rights in connection with today's parliamentary elections, according to the reports of the regional prosecutor's offices. Five people have been charged.
