Voting on the territory of Bulgaria for the 49th National Assembly has already ended. The deadline for the final announcement of the election results is April 6 (Thursday) and the names of the MPs must be announced by April 9 (Sunday).

Chairperson of the Central Election Commission, Kamelia Neikova, reported that the day had passed calmly. During the election day, 95 voting machines turned out to have irreparable technical problems and voting in some places was conducted only with paper ballots. No serious violations of public order were registered, the Ministry of the Interior reported.
