52% of adult Bulgarians did not attend a single cultural event in 2022, a survey on the consumption of cultural products by the adult population of Bulgaria show.
The survey was conducted by the sociological agency Market Links. It was commissioned by Ideas Factory Association and was funded by the National Culture Fund. 60% of village residents would attend cultural events if they had more money. People with an active profession and higher-income individuals said they did not have enough time to attend cultural events. 66% of Bulgarians choose live music venues, 61% prefer visits to historical sites and 54% prefer fairs or festivals, the BNR’s Hristo Botev channel reported.
