15 organisations from all agricultural sectors are to establish a Bulgarian Agrarian Chamber. The largest agricultural association in the country will include more than 8,000 farmers, the BNR’s reporter Veselina Milanova informed.

The initiative aims to help Bulgaria join Europe’s largest agricultural union Copa-Cogeca. The membership will give Bulgarian farmers a voice in Europe and their interests will be better protected. Until now, Bulgaria is the only European country that is not a member of the prestigious Copa- Cogeca.
