Culinary competition and egg fight recall of Easter traditions in western Bulgaria

Photo: library

In the midst of Easter, the municipality of Radomir organized the traditional competition for children "The Hardest Easter Egg" and the culinary competition "Red, Red Easter".

Before lunch, in the park of the youth cultural and information center "Europe", children up to the age of 12 measured the strength of their Easter eggs. Two hours later, in the village of Izvor, the traditional culinary competition, which preserves and popularizes the rich traditional rites associated with the brightest Christian holiday - the Resurrection of Christ, invited amateur chefs to present various festive meals.
