President Rumen Radev will not delay the consultations with the parliamentary forces to form a government and all constitutional deadlines will be met, Vice President Iliana Iotova assured. "The sooner a majority and a possible government are formed, the better. The presidency continues to claim that everyone in the country is interested in a stable majority and cabinet," she said.

Commenting on the agreement reached between GERB-SDS and "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" for the National Assembly and the parliamentary legal committee to be governed on a rotational basis, the vice-president said lawyers would have to rule on whether this was constitutional. She urged MPs to take up laws related to the Recovery and Resilience Plan "as soon as possible".
