The first direct flight from Sofia to Riyadh took off

The first plane on the direct connection between Sofia and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia took off at 15:35 today from Sofia Airport. The flight will operate twice a week - on Wednesdays and Sundays. The return flight from Riyadh to Sofia will be on the same days. It lasts about 4:30 hours. A new route from Sofia to Yerevan, Armenia, is about to be launched, too. It will be operated all year round and the first plane is to take off at the end of April.
