The World School Chess Championships 2023 took place April 14-22, in Rhodes, Greece. Bulgaria was represented by eight competitors - 4 girls and 4 boys.
Aleksandra Pehlivanova from Chess Club Plovdiv achieved exceptional success in the under-11 age group. With 6.5 points from the 9 games played, she won a silver medal.
