Minister of Innovation and Growth Aleksander Pulev will participate in the ceremony organized by InvestBulgaria Agency and the European Battery Alliance in Sofia. A declaration of Bulgaria's accession to the Alliance will be signed during the event.

The European Battery Alliance is an institution created by the European Commission that aims to bring key manufacturing back to Europe. The organization brings together over 800 industrial partners, technology companies, financial institutions and development centers, working in spheres ranging from mining to recycling. Their goal is to build a sustainable and competitive European battery industry.

With the accession, Bulgaria will become part of an industry that is expected to generate annual revenues of 250 billion euros after 2025.
