The price of natural gas for May is expected to be EUR 37-40 per megawatt-hour, which is 18% less as compared to April, the CEO of the state-owned gas supplier Bulgargaz Denitsa Zlateva said. "We will submit the final price application on May 1, but it will be in this range", Denitsa Zlateva said at an open meeting of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission.

Denitsa Zlateva told the EWRC Chairman Ivan Ivanov that according to the forecast, natural gas prices in June are expected to decrease by another 3-4% month-on-month. There are no problems with natural gas supplies until the end of the year, Denitsa Zlateva pointed out.
