The parliamentary group of the nationalist party Vazrazhdane is re-submitting a bill on the registration of “foreign agents”, which was submitted to the previous, 48th parliament but was never discussed in plenary.

Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov stated that the bill proposed was a copy of the American law, and that the European Commission was preparing a procedure for adopting a directive on the work of foreign agents in the European Parliament. The aim of the bill, he said, was to shed light on the financing of media and NGOs.
