Ealier on Tuesday, We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria proposed a government lineup headed by former Minister of Education Academician Nikolay Denkov.
"We have proposed this government lineup to get the job done," Kiril Petkov stressed. “I, Hristo Ivanov, General Atanasov and Vladislav Panev decided not to be part of the prospective cabinet to show that we realize how complicated the political situation is. We gave full freedom to Academician Denkov to select a team that will work on our programme", said Kiril Petkov. "GERB can take their responsibility, we laid our cards on the table," Kiril Petkov added. It also transpired that We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria will seek support from the other four political formations represented in the National Assembly.
