Half of the respondents think that political freedoms in the country are insufficient

Bulgarians are sceptical about the political and economic situation in the country. This is according to a global survey conducted on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Gallup International Association, which covers about two-thirds of the world's population.

However, attitudes in Bulgaria do not differ much from the average values registered for the world and the region. While 37% of respondents in Bulgaria say that political freedoms are sufficient today, exactly half of Bulgarians think that political freedoms are insufficient. Only 14% of respondents believe that economic opportunities in our country today are good enough, as 76% are of the opposite opinion.
