Digital prints created on iPad have been catching the attention of people in Vienna these days. Artist Nikolay Tonkov is the author of the unusual works. His high-quality digital prints that are part of an exhibition can be viewed until May 25, the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in the Austrian capital, organizer and host of the event, reports.

Working with the iPad, Nikolay Tonkov manages to blur the dividing line between digital and classical art in his works. Bright and dynamic colors are a trademark of the artist.

Tonkov graduated in painting from the National School of Fine Arts in Sofia. But in the stormy years of transition to democracy, the young artist went to Berlin, where he majored in graphic design, and focused on applied graphics. One of his most successful projects is Like.Bulgaria - one of the rare positive campaigns for Bulgaria, which gave a different and optimistic perspective to this country.
