"We Continue the Change" are not in coalition with GERB, Kiril Petkov says

Deep down, I feel that with 64 MPs of "We Continue the Change" out of a total of 240, the current proposal for the governance of Bulgaria for the next 18 months is the best one, co-chairman of the party and MP Kiril Petkov wrote in Facebook. According to the former prime minister, a joint government with a rotating prime minister "is not a coalition." It was created precisely because the party cannot form a coalition with GERB.

"It must be clearly recognized that the promise not to have a single person related to GERB in a future cabinet with the second mandate was not kept in the case of Mariya Gabriel," Petkov points out and apologizes if "our friends and voters felt horrified by this fact'.

Petkov points out that the formula of the new cabinet is borrowed from countries such as Ireland, Israel and Romania and adds that the rotation model is applied when two political forces do not trust each other. Mariya Gabriel was the key so that this model could be constructed, Petkov points out and says that he will not be a minister.
