Children from all over the world show the "Natural Wonders of Bulgaria" in Rome

To draw the "Natural Wonders of Bulgaria" in isolation, only from photos and deep emotions... This is what hundreds of Bulgarian children from all over the world did two years ago, inspired by the competition of the same name of the Bulgarian-Italian cultural organization AIBIA "Bulgarians in Abruzzo" , jointly with the Bulgarian Sunday School "BulgarinA" in the city of Pescara

The international event took place under the patronage of the Bulgarian Embassy in Rome and over 200 children from 6 to 18 years of age from Bulgaria and Bulgarian Sunday schools around the world drew with love, not subject to pandemic and geographical limitations, the Belogradchik rocks, the medieval fortress Baba Vida, the Krushun Waterfalls, the Wonderous Bridges, the Magura Cave, the Kazanlak Rose and many more natural treasures of Bulgaria.

In the middle of May this year, the best drawings were shown for the first time at "BulgarinA" school on the occasion of May 24, the Day of the Bulgarian Letters, Culture and Education.‎

Today, on the occasion of International Children's Day - June 1, they will be officially presented in the "Bulgaria" Gallery of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Rome. ‎

"The exhibition "Natural Wonders of Bulgaria" will give the residents and guests of the Eternal City the opportunity to see Bulgaria through the eyes of our wonderful children", the organizers believe.

The drawings will be on display in Rome throughout the month of July.

And we will tell you details about the opening of the exhibition itself, about the children's emotions and about Bulgaria outside of Bulgaria in a special material on the pages of Radio Bulgaria very soon.
