President Rumen Radev opens International Federation of European Law congress in Sofia with video address

“For more than 60 years your organization has been researching and promoting the development of law in the EU, by bringing together the points of view of legal practitioners, academia and representatives of the European institutions,” said in a video address Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev. The address opened the 30th congress of the International Federation of European Law FIDE taking place in Sofia until 3 June. “I hope that the work of the congress will contribute to enriching law within the EU and at a national level,” Rumen Radev said.

On 1 June President Radev is representing Bulgaria at the European political community summit in Moldova, to which the leaders of 47 countries, and of the EU have been invited. The overarching topic of discussion in Chișinău will be the situation in Ukraine.
