The cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey in the field of energy and the common transport projects of the two countries provides new opportunities for the development of the whole region. This is what President Rumen Radev said in Ankara where he attended the inauguration ceremony of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, BNR's reporter Mira Stefanova reported.

During Erdogan's third term in office President Radev is expecting a deepening of the two countries' cooperation in energy, and also in the construction of a railway link between the Bulgarian towns of Elhovo, Lesovo, and Turkish Hamzabeyli and Edirne, as well as the construction of a bridge across the Rezovo River. He also expects the new regular government to take advantage of everything achieved so far in the relations between Sofia and Ankara.
