Bulgaria will provide military support to Ukraine: Defence minister

Bulgaria must provide assistance to Ukraine in order to continue the counteroffensive and liberate its occupied territories. This was stated by the new Minister of Defence Todor Tagarev at the inauguration ceremony of the new cabinet. This will be done within the framework of the union decisions and the strict implementation of the decisions of the Bulgarian parliament, the minister pointed out.

"We will have security when the last occupier leaves the borders of Ukraine, and the Kremlin's aggressive intentions are blocked. Only in this way will our country, region and future be guaranteed,"  Tagarev said.

He will address the issue of civil-military relations because, according to the minister, it is particularly visible that there are serious challenges in guaranteeing them.
