Prosecutor General to make address on state television

Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev will make a statement on Bulgarian national television today, Bulgarian media report. The Prosecutor General will exercise the right given to him by an article of the Law on Radio and Television. The provision states that "the President of the Republic, the President of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, the Prosecutor General and the Presidents of the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Administrative Court and the Supreme Court of Cassation have the right to make an address on BNR and BNT". 
The address will follow the recent request to remove Geshev from office.
