MPs discuss removing the figure of the Prosecutor General

MPs from We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) agreed that the figure of the Prosecutor General be removed during the amendments to the Constitution. This is what MRF MP Delyan Peevski said after today's meeting, which was attended by the Minister of Justice Atanas Slavov. The talks on the topic will continue next week with other parliamentary groups.

The proposal to remove the figure of the Prosecutor Peneral was made by We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms expressed readiness to support it.
