The Bulgarian Ministry of Defence is in readiness to join the humanitarian aid for the peaceful population in Ukraine affected by the destruction of Nova Kakhovka dam.
In an interview with the Bulgarian news agency BTA, Deputy Minister of Defence Atanas Zapryanov stated that the Defence Ministry had discussed what could be done to help, if a national position is adopted for rendering humanitarian aid to the population affected. As regards military aid to Ukraine, Deputy Minister Zapryanov pointed out that the possibilities for providing such aid are being looked into.
