Bulgaria's Defence Minister Prof. Todor Tagarev accused the caretaker government of not fulfilling the parliament's decision to provide military-technical assistance to Ukraine, but of following President Rumen Radev's instructions.

Tagarev told bTV that the possibilities for assistance to Ukraine have not been exhausted.  "I guarantee that we can provide help, there are additional possibilities," added the minister.
He said that past aid to the Ukrainian army was nevertheless appreciated by Kyiv and NATO allies because it corresponded to Ukrainian needs.

During his upcoming visit to Brussels, Tagarev will state that Bulgaria is changing its position and will join the general order for the purchase of ammunition for the Ukrainian army, the minister said.
