Temperatures starting to rise ahead of start of astronomical summer

Sunny weather is expected in Bulgaria on Wednesday. In the afternoon hours cloudy skies are expected in the eastern regions, with a chance of brief showers and thunderstorms in the northeast. 

The minimum temperatures on Wednesday will range from 13 to 19°C, in Sofia - 13 °C. Daytime highs will be from 28 to 33 °C, in the capital - 28 °C.

It will be sunny along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast tomorrow, with clouds expected in the afternoon. Rain showers are expected in the northern coastline. Maximum air temperatures will be at 26-29°C. The temperature of the sea water is at 22-23°C.

It will be sunny also in the mountains, with clouds and occasional showers in the afternoon hours. The temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be up to 22 °C, at 2,000 m - up to 14 °C.

On Thursday, the astronomical summer will arrive in Bulgaria with warm summer temperatures and almost no precipitation.
