Bulgaria's Vice President Iliana Iotova commented on Facebook the visit of Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel to Brussels and the topic of the future Bulgarian commissioner in the European Commission.

According to her, the most important news is missing from Mariya Gabriel's first official visit to the European Commission - what portfolio will the new Bulgarian commissioner receive.
"Once again, disputes are starting about who will take the post, but there is no word on what this post is. Why did our foreign minister actually go? What did she agree? Or, as usually happens, we are looking for a job for the person, not a person for the job," wrote Iotova.
According to her, the decision about the portfolio of the Bulgarian commissioner cannot be made "in the dark", without a discussion between all institutions.
