Days of Romanian Culture kick off in Bulgaria's Balchik

On June 23, in the stone hall of "The Palace" Cultural Centre in Balchik, the exhibition "Romanian Traditions" will be opened. It will mark the beginning of the Days of Romanian Culture, which are held in the resort town in partnership with the oldest cultural center in Romania "Mihai Eminescu". The exhibition can be seen until July 2.

The paintings are a visual journey into the Romanian tradition, reflecting the Romanian identity through the variety of folk costumes and landscapes of the country. 

At the opening, the actress Claudia Moteawill perform a fragment of "King's Monologue", a multimedia performance offering an unprecedented journey into the lives of some Romanian emblematic figures such as the poet Mihai Eminescu, the poetess Carmen Sylva, Constantin Brâncuși, Cella Delavrancea

The Palace in Balchik
On July 1, on the Open Stage in the Palace, folk ensemble "Doruletul" will perform traditional Romanian dances. 

The Days of Romanian Culture are part of the "In the Palace-Balchik 23" festival program.
