"A Jazz Day" is expecting all residents of the capital Sofia and guests of the city who prefer to spend part of their time today in the Borisova garden.

The musical festival will be opened by the prima of jazz, Mimi Nikolova, and after her, young singers will appear on the summer stage to perform emblematic songs from Bulgarian jazz music and jazz standards.

Three workshops dedicated to vocal mastery and dance will also be part of the program.

"A Jazz Day" is a one-day jazz festival that gives young artists the opportunity to express themselves and their creative visions, as well as enrich their knowledge and get inspired by making music with some of the most famous faces of the Bulgarian jazz scene", say the organizers from the D Stars school for singers.

The event takes place with the support of Sofia Municipality.
