Food Safety Agency to inspect quality of ice cream

Due to the onset of the active tourist season, the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency is starting extraordinary inspections in ice cream production and trading sites from today. 

Inspections in the enterprises will continue until July 14 also in the places where ice cream is offered without pre-packaging (carts, outdoor stands, mobile objects) throughout the summer. 

It will be monitored whether the technological documentation for production, the incoming control of raw materials and materials, the labelling of the finished product has been observed. 

The inspections will cover sites throughout the country.
