The Regional Ethnographic Museum in Plovdiv traditionally invited craftsmen - "living human treasures" to participate in the XV edition of the Week of Traditional Crafts.

In the courtyard of the museum an imitation of a shopping street of craft workshops was built. Visitors can learn about crafts such as vertical loom weaving, felting, needle lace making, embroidery, silk painting, etc. Until Friday (June 30), there will be demonstrations by wood carvers, basket makers, blacksmiths, knife makers and more. A special highlight of this year's week is the craft of jewellery making using a variety of materials and techniques.
