MPs set up new committee on constitution reforms

After a meeting of MPs from GERB-SDS, MRF and "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB), it was decided to create a new committee for constitutional changes. 

The MP from MRF Delyan Peevski said that he would not join the committee and that it would only be made up of only experts. The co-chairman of the DB Hristo Ivanov said that an agreement on 3 changes was emerging - limiting the power of the prosecutor general, changes in the Supreme Judicial Council and a change in the mandate of the official cabinet.

After the meeting, MRF leader Mustafa Karadayi said that they disagree the calls for violence from Vazrazhdane party, but called on all those condemning acts of aggression and hatred in society to be consistent and categorical when aggression is shown on their behalf towards MRF, Muslims and other minorities .
